foreign [Music] hey guys welcome to boating Tech talk I'm one of the technicians here at pys Jake and today we have a question from one of our videos the question is that we had mentioned there is no battery charger that can charge different battery chemistries on the same charger meaning One battery charger with one AC 110 volt Supply able to supply multiple batteries or battery Banks of different chemistries that need different charge rates uh the question goes on to say I picked up a Norco gem Pro 10 3 which claims to do just that wet AGM and lithium are they mistaken or is it simply a case of new tech that has come about so the straight Point answer to that one is it's just new technology since we released that video uh in even the recent months let alone years there's been a lot more need for charges that will do multiple battery Banks and the big push for that is lithium to AGM or even lead acid so when we have a lithium house battery bank and we want to keep our AGM or lead acid starters we still need to have those maintained when we have a 110 volt Supply and so there is lots of charges on the market out there now ones that we work with quite a lot uh come from Master Vault who have this technology to charge different voltages different charge profiles of batteries they have charges 12 volts available 35 up to 100 amps same thing for a 24 volt system available 30 amps all the way up to 110 amps for 24 volts so there's definitely charges out there now that can do that thanks for watching boating Tech talk if you do have any other questions regarding charging multiple battery Banks of different chemistries please be sure to send through your questions English (auto-generated)
