Charging AGM and Flooded Batteries With One Charger?

One of the 3 house banks I want it to charge has an AGM battery, but the charger only takes one setting for all three banks, the other 2 being flooded acid. Their web site FAQ says that AGM batteries can be charged using the flooded setting, is that correct or advisable? Yet the AGM setting is a lower indicated charging voltage - 14.4 volts compared to 14.8 volts. How can I safely charge both types at same time?

Answer:

You CANNOT mix and match AGM and flooded battery types on the same battery charger. You'll need a different charger for each different type of battery or it will shorten your battery life.
