This optional external mount GPS antenna is for an installation location deep inside a boat when the internal GPS antenna will not receive satellite signals. It has an Internal 50 channel GPS Antenna and comes with a 10 m cable with TNC connector.

Note: This is not an "active" GPS Antenna; the AIS unit contains the GPS, and the antenna is a "passive receiver."
