Searay 47 - "Bebebito"

Chris had been using a generator on his 47 Searay, Bebebito, which meant a lot of noise whenever he needed to use any electrical systems while at anchor. At the recommendation of a marine electronics supplier, he consulted with PYS, who suggested he have a 2000W Magnum inverter/charger and a battery monitor system with auto generator start installed on his boat. PYS also added the "Smart" alternator management system and a powerful remote cellular internet and Wi-fi system, which also comes with a voice land line. Chris says he can now Skype all night in many parts of Desolation Sound. "Very cool!" he notes.

PYS went farther and upsized his house bank to 10 AGM golfcart batteries so that Chris could stay at anchor longer. He liked the way PYS laid out exactly what had to be done and describes their work as "first class," with excellent follow-up service.

"Having an inverter/charger system on my boat makes it more suitable for what we're doing," says Chris. "It's so quiet now, it allows us to hang out with the sailboats."

Chris would have no hesitation recommending PYS to other boaters, using terms such as "user-friendly" and "functional" when talking about their knowledge and expertise.
