Polaris Inflatable Boats

Polaris Inflatable Boats Ltd. has been designing and building custom, high-quality Rigid-hull Inflatable Boats (or RIB), which are used worldwide. In the 25 years Polaris has been manufacturing their high-quality vessels, marine electronics have become increasingly sophisticated: radar, navigational tracking systems, GPS and radio can now be interfaced so they communicate with each other.

Realizing that their own expertise lay in the building of their boats and not in the field of high-tech electronics, Polaris turned to Pacific Yacht Systems. Polaris’ sales manager describes the arrangement: “We will do the electrical for the installation of an engine, but when it comes to the other peripherals, like the Raymarine E80 Multi-Function Display, PYS does all the coordination.”

PYS sources the electrical components for each system they design and install. Polaris particularly values the clear and comprehensive information PYS provides on completion of a job. This is important because Polaris boats can be found anywhere in the world, and service personnel must be able to understand the systems they are working on.
