Geoff knew the house batteries were going flat on his 44-foot Bavaria, Akela II. When only the fridge was running after a night at anchor, he had to start the engine to recharge the system. Obviously it was not behaving as it should.
PYS rewired part of the boat’s electrical system, including an emergency cross-over switch so that Geoff can start the engine battery from the house system, and vice versa.
"I was leaving to go somewhere," states Geoff, "and I had a one-day window in which the work on my boat could be done. Jeff at PYS dropped everything, came out, and did the job that same day."
Geoff describes PYS’ service and communication as excellent, and boating will now be a lot easier. “They work on the basis of what is best for your boat,” he says.
