Sceptre 43 - Design and Install an Integrated Electrical System

This owner/operator was looking for a reliable and easy-to-understand system that would allow him to cruise to Alaska and stay, safely, in remote anchorages. His main reason for hiring PYS was to de-mystify his hodge-podge electrical system and bring everything up to code. He was looking for a system that he could understand and trouble-shoot remotely.

PYS reviewed the boat's existing system, made recommendations and came up with plan to build a cohesive electrical system that met all ABYC safety standards. At the end of the day, the biggest benefit was that everything was labelled and he had an electrical diagram of every system on his boat including his battery setup, inverter, alternator, external regulator, AC/DC panel, combiner, and switches. It was important to him to know how things work with the assurance that it had been done right.
