Victron Skylla-i Battery Charger

These two new battery chargers are Victron’s answer to the growing demand for modern, powerful battery chargers. The 24V battery chargers are lighter and smaller than comparable models, allow remote control, enable to set a maximum amount of shore side current and are NMEA 2000-certified. When only shallow discharges occur the absorption time is kept short in order to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge the absorption time is automatically increased to make sure that the battery is completely recharged. The unit also comes with a battery temperature sensor, and this is especially useful for sealed lead-acid batteries and/or when important fluctuations of battery temperature are expected.
