September 6 – 11 | Carving on the Edge Festival is an annual gathering that celebrates traditional and contemporary carving arts. This year’s theme, Totems & Tributaries, will explore carving as a visual language. Totem Poles stand tall, telling stories of the land and its peoples. Tributaries connect our coastal communities to those upstream, uniting us along ancient salmon migration routes. The festival offers something for everyone – from lovers of arts & culture to carvers of all skill levels.

September 7 – 9 | The Skookum Festival - A weekend of music, creativity and culinary excellence. Framed by the shoreline forests of Vancouver’s iconic Stanley Park, SKOOKUM features an eclectic mix of contemporary music, food, and art – just minutes from the centre of British Columbia’s largest city. Alongside a music lineup of legends and new favorites, you’ll discover live art and multimedia installations by local artists, complemented by a taste-tripping selection of culinary experiences – from cool food trucks to remarkable dishes from some of Vancouver’s most notable chefs and restaurateurs. Thirsty? We’ll also be bringing you the region’s best with tasting areas showcasing premium BC wines, local distilleries, and craft breweries.

September 8 - 9 | At Painters Lodge, experience French Riviera theme Art in the Garden. Over 30 Artisans each weekend will be displaying their works among the trees with live music, mimes, decadent food and cocktails at the beautiful Painter’s Lodge, overlooking the Discovery passage.
