Garmin GPSMAP 700

The rugged and affordable Garmin GPSMAP 700 series chartplotter is the perfect do-it-all unit for vessels where space is at a premium. Navigation charts, GPS, sounder, weather, AIS info - it's all there on the 700's seven-inch intuitive colour touchscreen interface with the blazing-fast map redraw and refresh rates of its big brother, the 7000 series. The LED backlit screen features a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts screen brightness to optimal viewing levels as conditions change from day to night.

Both the GPSMAP 700 models come with a built-in digital elevation model (DEM) worldwide basemap, which can be easily upgraded with optional BlueChart g2 or g2 Vision cards for expanded coverage of specific regions. No room for a radio? You can add a GXM 51 receiver to your 700 series to add over 170 channels of digital-quality XM Radio (additional XM service fee required).

It provides full NMEA 2000 connectivity for engine, fuel, wind, and other data monitoring. NMEA 0183, external GPS and Garmin radar ports are located on the unit's standard bail mount, which helps keeps cables well organized. Additionally, the 700 can be flush-mounted directly into your helm.
